Overtime and home cooking added up to an early Christmas present for the Colorado Avalanche. Matt Duchene scored late in overtime and Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 29 shots to lead the Avalanche over the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 on Friday night. Ryan O'Reilly also scored for Colorado, which has won a team-record eight straight home games.
